Toni Fejzula

Barcelona-based artist Toni Fejzula has established himself as one of the most charismatic creators in the world of comics thanks to his versatile technique and unmistakable style.

His notable titles include The Veil, Lobster Johnson and Dead Inside (all published by Dark Horse), as well as the acclaimed graphic novel adaptation of the bestseller Patria (Homeland) and his recent hit, The Forgotten Blade.

Fejzula earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Barcelona, where he started out as an illustrator in advertising and film animation. He made his comics debut in 2000 with a short story in The Savage Sword of Conan, which opened the French market to him. There, he worked on titles such as Spirou Adventures: Anaconda, A Night of Rain, Central Zero and his adaptation of Stendhal's The Red and the Black. These were all published by renowned publishers such as Delcourt, Glénat and Dargaud.

Alongside his international work, Fejzula has enjoyed a prolific career in his native Serbia with Stripessing, as well as with major Spanish publishers such as Diábolo, Norma and Planeta. The latter published his critically acclaimed work, Patria.

He currently creates covers for cult classics such as Something is Killing the Children, Phantom Road, and W0rldtr33, while also working on various projects for the US market, including a miniseries with Darcy Van Poelgeest and two albums with Juan Díaz Canales for the Franco-Belgian comics market, as well as a new graphic novel adaptation for the prestigious Spanish publisher Planeta.
