Illustrator, cover artist, inker, educator… Asturian David Lafuente is one of the most versatile Spanish talents in the comic book industry. With a unique style, lines of extreme clarity, and an unparalleled narrative ability, his body of work includes standout titles such as Neil Gaiman’s The Graveyard Book, Superman, Radiant Red, and Sinister Sons, of which he is a co-creator.
David burst onto the American comic book scene in 2008, illustrating the Marvel Comics miniseries Patsy Walker: Hellcat, written by Kathryn Immonen. Later, he played a leading role in the successful relaunch of Ultimate Comics Spider-Man alongside Brian Michael Bendis.
David’s most recent books include Spider-Ham, Superman, Harley Quinn, the best-selling Image Comics series Radiant Black, the new Eisner-nominated series Radiant Red, and the comic Knight Terrors: Batman, which ranked among the top 10 bestsellers of 2023.
