Xermánico (Madrid, 1986) grew up in Galicia, where he began his training in drawing and comics under Norberto and Jacobo Fernández in Vigo.
After completing his studies in fine arts at the Escola Joso in Barcelona, he published his first works in the U.S. and France with IDW Publishing: Duke Nukem in the U.S. and Les Deux Royaumes and Might and Magic Heroes in France.

In 2012, he began collaborating with DC Comics. After a brief stint on series such as Arrow, The Vampire Diaries, and Injustice: Gods Among Us—which he alternated with commissions and covers for publishers such as IDW, Marvel, Boom! Studios, and Dark Horse, as well as work on video games, trading cards, and advertising—he transitioned to the DC universe with Wonder Woman.

This was followed by story arcs and projects such as Justice League, Green Lantern: Blackstars, Infinite Frontier, Flashpoint Beyond, and Batman: One Bad Day: Clayface. He has been working on the latest relaunch of Green Lantern for the past three years.
