Star Trek, Star Wars, Poe Dameron, The Avengers, Captain America, Titans, Green Lantern, The Flash, Iron Man, Deathstroke, Legion of Super-Heroes, Wolverine, Wonder Woman… Few artists can boast a body of work like that of Spanish illustrator and comic book artist Ángel Unzueta, which is filled with the most iconic titles from the major American publishers, DC and Marvel. 

Active since 1993, Ángel Unzueta belongs to the second wave of Spanish creators who managed to make a name for themselves in the American market. In addition, he was a pioneer in the use of digital technology in the Spanish comic book industry and has a long history in the Franco-Belgian market, where his works Face D’Ange, Chasseurs de Religues, and his recent Historias de Ulis (Ulis’ Tales)—a graphic fable with which he made his debut as a full-fledged author in 2022—stand out.

After two years as a regular artist on the Defiant series in the Star Trek universe, he is currently working on a new project as a full-fledged author.
