Ana Jarén (Seville, 1985) began her professional career in the fashion communication sector, where she started to develop her first works as an illustrator. After living in the UK and Belgium, she returned to Spain in 2017.
Ana focuses on everyday scenes, people and the spaces they inhabit, dwelling on the small details. She has collaborated with numerous brands and media such as The Washington Post, Fnac or Vogue, among many others.
She is the author of Escritoras: Una historia de amistad y creación (Women Writers: A Story of Friendship and Creation - Lumen, 2023) together with Carmen G. de la Cueva, Astrología para colorear (Astrology to Paint - 2022) and Amigas (Friends - 2020). Almudena: Una biografía (Almudena: A Biography - Lumen, 2024), with Aroa Moreno Durán, is her latest work.
