Rosa Codina (born in 1987 in Ordal, Alt Penedès) is a comic book artist who began publishing in 2019 with Rompepistas (Trackbreaker), released by Ediciones La Cúpula.
A few months later, she founded Puscomix, where she published Grano de pus (Pus Pimple) alongside Aroha Travé. The following year, Grano de pus was nominated for the Barcelona Comic Awards as Best Fanzine.
Codina publishes in the magazine El Jueves and collaborates with authors such as Javier Marquina. With Marquina, she published Como salvar la industria del cómic (How to Save the Comic Book Industry - Ecc) in 2023. That same year, she developed Crohn's disease and fell ill, causing her to stop drawing for a while. After her diagnosis, Rosa had to change her lifestyle. Once she got better, she wrote down all her experiences from those horrible months and released a trilogy called VAYA MIERDA (WHAT A PIECE OF SHIT). The story consists of three parts: Vaya Mierda (Quina Merda in Catalan), Parts 1 and 2 (2024), and Part 3 (2025). Though it may seem like a sad story, it's told with plenty of humor!
