A proud Galician and left-hander who loves magic, witches, and coffee liqueur. Paula has been doodling on whatever she can find since she gave her living room sofa a new pattern with a marker at age four.
Paula is a comic book artist and children’s illustrator. It all began during the pandemic when she started venting on social media using her autobiographical comic strips as a weapon. She has illustrated several children’s books, notably the comic Miquits (Antela Editorial), with the second volume nominated for the Follas Novas Award in 2025, that will soon be published in the United States.
She made her debut as a full-fledged author with her work El duelo (The Grief - Fandogamia Editorial, 2022), which earned her several accolades, including the Antifaz Award for Best New Author at the Valencia Comic Fair and a nomination in the same category at Cómic Barcelona. She was also recognized by the Spanish Association of Critics and Promoters. She has also contributed to the satirical humor magazine El Batracio Amarillo since 2024.
Today, Paula continues to live deep in the Galician forests, still not quite sure what she’s doing.
