Gema Moraleda (Barcelona, 1981), who holds a degree in Translation and Interpretation from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, has been working in this field for twenty years and has also served as a reader, editor, and proofreader for various publishing houses.

Comic book translation is one of her specialties, and among her most notable works are: Somna, for which she is nominated for the Sophie Castille Translation Award at this year’s Cómic Barcelona; Patos, for which she was a finalist for the same award in 2024; and the series Monstress, Night Eaters, Harrow County, Hip Hop Family Tree o Archie, among many other titles.
