He just published Yo le hice una paja a Franco (I Gave Franco a Handjob - Autsaider Comics, 2026), an "S"-rated political fiction story set during the late Franco era. It is a work that reflects on the fate of Spain.
The graphic novel is a follow-up to Nosotros llegamos primero (We Arrived Here First - Autsaider Comics, 2026), which was nominated for Best National Work at Còmic Barcelona and won an award at the Zaragoza Comic Fair that same year.
Coinciding with his visit to Còmic Barcelona, three of the author’s previous comics are being reissued: Tiki Topless, Las cloacas de la cripta (The Sewers of the Crypt), and España lixiviada.
Furillo has been publishing in the TMEO magazine since 1999 and is part of its core group. With this Basque collective, he has published two volumes of the series Donde hay pelo hay alegría (Where there's hair, there's joy). Since 2013, he has also been editing his own annual fanzine, Palmeras y Puros, dedicated to tiki culture and surf music.
