Toni Benages Gallard (Badalona, 1970).
He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a research qualification from the University of Barcelona. He is a comics instructor at the Pau Gargallo School of Art in Badalona and the director of the Cryptshow Festival.
He is also a cartoonist, illustrator, and poster artist. He is the author of the graphic novels Total Wars (SciFiWorlds Comics, 2012), Las manos en los bolsillos (Hands in Pockets), written by Pablo Herranz, Edicions de Ponent, 2005), and Libro de caballerías (Book of Chivalry), written by Julià Guillamon, Editorial Empúries, 2020). He contributes to the magazines Petit Sàpiens and Serra d'Or. He is a founder of the magazine La Cripta (2012) and inked Rubén Pellejero and Christopher's graphic novel The Long and Winding Road (Kennes Editions, 2016).
With Males Herbes, he published the comics Las extraordinarias aventuras de Francesc Pujols (The Extraordinary Adventures of Francesc Pujols - 2015), La alegría de vivir (The Joy of Living - 2017), El círculo de Loplop (Loplop Circle - 2022, winner of the 2023 Serra d'Or Award), and Esqueixos (Cuttings - 2025), among others.
He is the creator of the YouTube channel Freakyonline!
