Emma Casadevall Sayeras (Barcelona, 1995) is an illustrator and comic book author who supports social and educational initiatives through creativity. She holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Fine Arts and Socio-Educational Intervention, respectively, from the University of Barcelona.
Her graphic and narrative work explores collective imaginaries, social and territorial realities, and the dialogue between critical and poetic perspectives. She has collaborated on cultural, educational, and publishing projects locally and in various countries, including Mexico, Germany, Senegal, and Nigeria. 

Lignit is her first comic and winner of the New Talent Award at the 2024 Finestres de Còmic Award in Catalan.
