Born on October 18, 1975, in Mont-Saint-Aignan, Bruno Duhamel spent his youth between small provincial towns and Paris, where he completed his high school years.
After a year studying Fine Arts at university and then at the Regional School of Fine Arts in Angoulême, he hesitated for a while between 3D and Internet design, before finally choosing comic art. He teamed up with Frédéric Brémaud to create the series Kochka (Paquet), Harlem, and Butch Cassidy (Vents d’Ouest).
In 2007, he published his first solo album, Je suis pas petite !!! (La Boîte à Bulles), before illustrating Le Père Goriot (Delcourt) with Thierry Lamy and Philippe Thiraut, followed by three volumes of the alternate-history series Les Brigades du temps with Kris.
With Le Retour, published in 2017, he joined the Grand Angle label, where he later released Jamais, #NOUVEAUCONTACT_, Fausses pistes, and Jamais 2: books in which the author enjoys playing with the medium as much as with his readers. Bamboo also reissued Le Voyage d’Abel, written by Isabelle Sivan (aka Lisa Belvent). The duo reunited for Deux sœurs, released in January 2024.
He then became the scriptwriter for Whisky, illustrated by the talented David Ratte, while simultaneously working on a solo project, Le Goût du Métal.
