Once again, the close relationship between Escola Joso and Comic Barcelona will result in great activities and content at the event, giving you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the exciting world of sequential art. CRISTINA LAVIÑA FEREZ

Cristina Laviña is a Barcelona-born concept artist and illustrator based in Los Angeles, specializing in character design. She is a Lead Concept Artist at Respawn Entertainment, where she worked on the acclaimed Apex Legends, as well as the games, Hardspace: Shipbreaker, Sacred 3, Legend of the Cryptids or Battlefield: Hardline. She is currently the Lead Character Concept Artist at Wildlight Entertainment.

MADO PEÑA AND ERNEST SALA

Ernest Sala (The Baztan Trilogy, published by Planeta) and Mado Peña (Dune Messiah, published by Duna llibres) combine teaching with illustration in various fields, such as children's illustration, visual development for video games and especially comics. They are also the illustrators of Sand, a board game designed by Argentinean authors Ariel Di Costanzo and Javier Pelizzari and published by Devir. Together with Mado and Ernest, we will learn about the specifics of board game illustration.
