Camille Vannier
(París, 1984)

She is an illustrator and comic author. She has studied at the Atelier de Sèvres in Paris and in Escola Massana in Barcelona. She has participated in magazines such as Vice, Pandora and El Jueves drawing cartoons with her characteristic style, enhancing the ugliness and drawing colorful everyday objects.

Since she published her first comic El horno no funciona (The Oven Doesn’t Work - Sins Entido, 2012), about her experience looking for roommates, she tells stories based on her life and environment, such as Poulou y el resto de mi familia (Poulou and the rest of my family - Sapristi, 2018) or Sexo de mierda (Shitty Sex - Astiberri, 2022).

Both also published in France by Cambourakis. She claims that the best anecdotes for her stories those that come from plans that have not gone as expected. She loves Fiona Apple, the work of Larry David, food and pigeons.
