In the first phase of the Comic Barcelona Awards, five titles will be nominated for the Best Work by a Foreign Author category. From these five works, a jury composed of members of Red Vértice (Spanish network of associations of translators, interpreters and proofreaders) will evaluate the nominated works and choose three finalists and the winner of the Sophie Castille Award for the Best Translation. This award focuses on the evaluation of the translation of the work.
