When they started out, Juanjo Guarnido and Juan Díaz Canales probably never imagined that some time later they would be able to boast of having sold hundreds of thousands of copies of the adventures of a cat detective in the form of vignettes.

The two form an extraordinary tandem that has not only captivated audiences, but also won international awards for their creations. The exhibition “Blacksad: Work in Progress” aims to  modestly show their working methodology through a selection of images that include script fragments, documentation, sketches, and the final art of the last two albums in the series, the diptych Blacksad: They All Fall Down.
