The Barcelona International Comic Fair wants the event to be also a networking area. The show enables a professional area, COMIC PRO, to give the opportunity to the authors to show their work to national and foreign publishers. It is the contribution made by the show to facilitate professional opportunities for the creators.

For this edition we have confirmed the participation of representatives of the North American publishers IDW, Dark Horse and Dynamite, and the German Avant Verlang. In addition to these foreign publishers, the editors of the Spanish labels Astiberri Ediciones, Ediciones Babylon, Ediciones La Cúpula, Fandogamia, Penguin Random House and Editorial Planeta will be present.

The goal is for editors to see all the portfolios delivered. The authors must take a photocopy of their work and projects directly to the Salón del Cómic and deposit them in the boxes of the editors of their interest. Each portfolio (only copies and A4 size) must include name and surname, e-mail and a contact telephone number.

Once the portfolios have been reviewed, the editors will decide which authors they wish to interview. Depending on the editor and the schedules, the interview will be arranged for that same day or for the next day.

Portfolios will be returned to their authors if they are properly identified in the cover.
